My favorite TV show, now on DVD

LOST, Season 1 came out on DVD yesterday, September 6. Of course, since its my favorite TV show, I went out and bought it soon after I woke up. Even though I did download all the episodes after they were originally aired, the DVD collection is awesome. I wish I had a 5.1 system so it would sound as good as it looks. I'd highly recomend it to anyone and, at around $40, its a steal. 24 (some say 25 since the final episode was 2 hours instead of 1) episodes on 6 DVD's and a 7th DVD full of extra stuff (once I watch it I'll write some more about it). All in all, the box claims it has over 1200 minutes of content in the set. I linked to amazon up above, but I bought it at Best Buy, solely because you get a bonus DVD from BB that has a few nice features such as the season review episode that was aired on ABC, a mini-documentary about the flashback sequences in the show, 2 behind-the-scenes and on-location snippets from two of the earlier episodes, and also a teaser trailer for Season 2. It was worth the $2 extra I spent getting it at BB instead of Target (I love having those two stores less than a mile from my apartment).

Back to finish watching the mid-season episode I go. And remember, buy the DVD set so that you will know whats going on when Season 2 starts on Sept 21.
