Spring semester thus far

Yeah, so we're only a week into the semester but there's still plenty to talk about. Lets see how condensed I can make this...

1) CIS 310: Web design. . .hopefully I'll learn to make webpages that don't look like I puked them out
2) CIS 430: Systems development. . .um, didn't I do this last semester making Checkers. . .oh yeah, that was FUN, this isn't
3) CIS 450: Senior Sem. . .major research and job hunting. . .oh boy! (actually, I think I will enjoy the class anyway)
4) Racquetball: no better way to start your mornings that having to dodge fast moving circular objects

So thats my semester in a nutshell, class wise. Work is work and is hardly ever THAT much fun, but money is money and that IS fun.

In other money news, the school didn't bother to give me a meal plan for this semester, which resulted in me getting a huge refund check. Luckily for me, I had over $300 meal dollars on my student ID so I said "F it" to paying $900 to get a meal plan back. $300 should last me for meals for most of the semester. Plus having that $900 to play with is great. So, after paying back my grandparents the $500 I owe them, I have about $750 left over from my refund check to play with. Guess who will finally get to upgrade his car speakers and amp AND make his car windows very dark. . .that's right, THIS guy! And I'll also be helping Diana make her car windows a bit darker as well. Once I get my paycheck from work, I'll also be adding a DVD burner to my laptop set up. Its turning into quite the beast (as if an 11 pound laptop wasn't already). But it will be nice to make "backup" copies of DVD's.

I'll write more after the cars are upgraded and I have access to many more DVD movies. Later
