Back and gone again

After spending a long week in PA listening to my mom and grandmother yell at each other most days and not having internet, I was glad to get back to NC last Friday. Even though flying back was terrible (I almost could've made better time driving. . .lets just say 2.5 hour delays resulting in sitting in Philly for far too long is not fun) but at least I finally got back to home.
For the next two days I watched the Open on tv in the mornings and mostly was lazy in the afternoon. Sunday my friend Mike was planning on coming over later in the afternoon so Diana and I went and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I'm not sure if it was Johnny Depp playing Wonka or the strangeness that is Tim Burton but I don't think it was as good as the original. Still though, great fun to watch. I find it amazing that one person was all of the Oompa Loompa's.
Today, my mom was scheduled to fly into RDU so I could pick her up and we could drive to Nashville tomorrow morning. Unfortunately she had an even worse time flying down than I did. US Airways lost her bag (with all her clothes and medications) because the Lehigh Valley airport checked her bag in as "late" even though she checked in over an hour before her schedule flight. So what should have been a 2-3 hour trip to Raleigh and back turned into a nearly 5 hour fiasco. Hopefully the airport will give a call back to us tomorrow and let us know they found the bag.
After getting the luggage back tomorrow morning (hopefully), we'll be driving to Nashville. I'll be spending the week there, probably coming back sometime on Sunday, maybe Saturday even (I don't like spending time in Nashville). I figured I'd post this blogging tonight because who knows how good the internet will be at the house. If it's decent, I'll be posting throughout the week and probably try to get up reviews of Fantastic Four and Charlie.
